I have a BA Music Degree from Middlesex University in Composition and a Certificate in Music Workshop from Goldsmiths University. At present I teach beginners guitar to whole class and small groups in primary schools . I also ran with my music partner a rock club teaching beginners guitar, songwriting, bass and drums for more than 10 years. I have also taught the guitar to students one on one for many years.

  • How are your lessons different to to others.

    All the lessons are filmed onto videos so you can go at your own pace. I teach guitar by using the notes on the open strings of the guitar. Where as most other sites teaching popular music use chords. All the lessons are filmed onto videos so you can go at your own pace.

  • What will I learn.

    Beginners will learn how to play the notes on the first 3 strings of the guitar and their names. They will also learn a little rhythm and other fundamental for instance how to hold the guitar and what parts of the guitar you need to know.

  • How long will it take to learn the guitar.

    This one to a large extent depends on you. If you go through the lessons and practice a lot, not long at all. The important thing though is to have fun while your learning to play the guitar.
